Job summary

Sobeys in Moncton, NB is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver friendly, professional service at the front end. You will process customer transactions accurately and help maintain a positive shopping environment.

As a member of Sobeys' front-end team, you’ll work in a fast-paced store, follow cash-handling procedures, and support other departments as needed while upholding company standards and policies.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures.
• Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries.
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards.
• Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required.
