Giant Tiger Inc. in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC is seeking a part-time Cashier. You will manage customer transactions, assist shoppers, and maintain organized checkout areas while following health and safety guidelines.

The role offers flexible shifts including days and evenings, with 24 hours weekly for part-timers and 35–40 hours for full-time rare opportunities. You will contribute to a positive customer experience and support inventory and store standards.

About This Role

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensures a high level of customer service at the checkouts;
• Accurately records customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs);
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area;
• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
• Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized;
• Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed;
• Ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.

When You’ll Work

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
