Job summary

Giant Tiger is seeking a friendly, motivated cashier to join our Prince Albert store for part-time hours. You will handle customer transactions at the checkout, maintain clean and organized checkout areas, and support health and safety practices.

Prior experience is helpful but not required, with training provided to ensure accuracy and service excellence. You will work with a team to deliver fast, friendly service, manage SCOs and standard checkouts, and assist with merchandise replenishment

About This Role:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensures a high level of customer service at the checkouts;
• Accurately records customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs);
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area;
• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
• Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized;

• Ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.

When You’ll Work:

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
