Job summary

Giant Tiger in Ottawa is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver friendly, efficient service at the checkout. You will handle customer transactions, stock nearby areas, and help maintain a clean, safe checkout zone while following store policies, including tobacco and lottery guidelines.

About This Role

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensures a high level of customer service at the checkouts
• Accurately records customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs)

When You’ll Work

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
