Job summary

McDonald's Canada is hiring for a Cashier / Line Cook. The role covers guest greeting, order taking, payment processing, and basic food prep while maintaining cleanliness. You will support dine-in, take-out, and delivery orders with a team-focused approach.

No experience is required, and previous food service or retail experience is helpful. We value authentic, inclusive team members who bring a positive attitude and flexibility to rotating shifts across the dayparts.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders accurately.
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions.
• Assist with drink and food preparation and maintain cleanliness.
• Coordinate with team to manage dine-in, take-out, and delivery orders.
• Support rotating shifts including day, night, afternoon, and weekends.

The starting hourly wage is $16.60 under 18 years of age / $17.60 over 18 years of age
