Job summary

Sport Chek is seeking a Cashier Lead to greet customers, process transactions, and support teammates in delivering an outstanding retail experience in our Canada stores.

You will manage till accuracy, handle returns and inquiries, and help the team meet performance targets while upholding company standards for service and product knowledge. This role emphasizes a positive attitude, strong math skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment that supports active, healthy living.

Job Description

As a Cashier Lead at Sport Chek, your positive attitude will help customers and employees of the store. You will be the first-person customers see and the last team member they will remember. You will be handling transactions, but most importantly, you will represent our company with every interaction. Through your dedication to customer service and execution of operational tasks you will be an example to our PT Advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• You are responsible for delivering excellent service to every customer


• Processing purchases, returns, exchanges, or general inquiries


• Keep a balanced till


• Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets

Required Skills and Knowledge

• 6+ months of previous retail experience


• Previous customer service experience and/or cash handling experience is an asset

Our typical hiring range is between $16.75 and $20.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
