Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Winnipeg, MB is hiring a Cashier to greet customers, operate the register, and share product knowledge. The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will help keep shelves stocked, ensure fresh products are displayed, and assist customers, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly, efficient customer service.
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to help and learn.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is helpful.

We are hiring for a Cashier at our Kildonan location in Winnipeg, MB.

Open weekday availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
