Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Edmonton, AB is looking for a friendly, customer‑focused Cashier to join our part‑time team. You will ring up purchases, share product knowledge, manage stock on the floor, and help keep our department clean and inviting while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Open weekend availability is preferred with 8–24 hours per week. This role supports a team‑oriented, inclusive environment that values service, people, integrity and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is valued.
• Cash handling and basic math.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile for customers and team members.
• Operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Share product knowledge with customers.
• Ensure the department is well stocked and presented.
• Display fresh products and maintain quality standards.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide a positive experience.
• Clean equipment and work area to maintain safety and sanitation.
• Use various equipment, including knives where applicable.

We are hiring for a Cashier at our Jagare location in Edmonton, AB.

8-24 hours per week.

Open weekend availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

• A strong work ethic and let's get it done attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
