Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to support health, beauty and convenience services in a community store. You will maintain a clean checkout, greet customers, enter product data accurately and handle cash, coupons, lottery and PC Optimum transactions with a positive demeanor.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and ongoing learning through store procedures and safety guidelines. Accommodation is available for applicants with disabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service and positivity at checkout.
• Maintain a neat, organized checkout area.
• Greets customers and performs data entry accurately.
• Process cash, coupons, lottery and PC Optimum transactions.
• Request PC Optimum card from customers at each transaction.
• Assist with merchandising, loss prevention and housekeeping as required.
• Follow store policies, health and safety guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area
• Greets all customers and displays warm demeanor
• Accurately scans or enters product data
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction

Merchandising

• Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goods
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e., facing, signing, labeling, etc)

Loss Prevention

• Ensures loss prevention Standards are followed
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

General

• Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines
• Complies with all health and safety regulations
• Complies with all store policies and procedures
• Ensures the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained
• Perform other duties as required
