Shoppers Drug Mart in Edmonton invites applications for a Customer Service Associate. You will deliver frontline service, operate the checkout, scan products, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in a locally owned store under the Loblaw family. The role emphasizes accuracy with cash handling, PC Optimum benefits, and compliant store procedures.

You will also assist with merchandising, loss prevention, and general duties to support a smooth shopping experience for customers and the community.

Responsibilities

• Represents proper image per Uniform Policy and Dress Code.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Performs other duties as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area
• Greets all customers and displays warm demeanor
• Accurately scans or enters product data
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction

Merchandising

• Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goods
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e., facing, signing, labeling, etc)

Loss Prevention

• Ensures loss prevention Standards are followed
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

  General

  • Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines
  • Complies with all health and safety regulations
  • Complies with all store policies and procedures
  • Ensures the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained
  • Perform other duties as required
