Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Comox, BC, is looking for a friendly retail associate to ensure excellent customer service and a smooth checkout experience. You will greet customers, scan items, handle cash and coupons, and promote PC Optimum benefits while upholding store standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, organization and accuracy. You will merchandise, manage receipts and returns, assist with loss prevention, and wear the required uniform as part of a nationally backed brand.

Responsibilities

• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
• Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goods.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc).
• Ensures loss prevention standards are followed.
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Presents proper image to the public per Uniform Policy and Dress Code.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Maintains housekeeping and image standards.
• Performs other duties as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers

• Complies with all store policies and procedures
• Ensures the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained
• Perform other duties as required
