29th Street Market in Battleford, SK is seeking a friendly Cashier/Grocery Clerk to join our team. You will process transactions, assist customers, bag groceries, and keep the store clean while delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing transactions (scanning/entering items, using a POS system, cash handling, processing debit/credit cards, lottery tickets, gift cards etc.)
• Bagging groceries
• Helping customers bring groceries to their vehicles (upon request)
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Proficient knowledge of merchandise
• Completing housekeeping tasks
• Some stocking tasks
• Completing other tasks as requested
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift items up to 40lbs
• Ability to bend and conduct repetitive movements
