Giant Tiger in Saint-Georges, QC is hiring a Cashier (Full-Time) to provide high-level customer service at the checkout. You will accurately record transactions at the register, mainline, and self-checkouts, and replenish merchandise around the area.

You will also follow health and safety policies, keep the checkout area clean, and adhere to loss prevention and tobacco/lottery policies. The role offers competitive pay, profit sharing, health benefits after probation, and opportunities for career

Job Title: Cashier (Full-Time)

About This Role:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensures a high level of customer service at the checkouts;
• Accurately records customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs);
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area;
• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
• Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized;
• Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed;
• Ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.

When You’ll Work:

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
