Job summary

Giant Tiger in Halifax, Nova Scotia is seeking a full-time Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale. You will process transactions at checkouts, operate SCOs, and assist with restocking around the checkout area.

The role requires following health and safety policies, supporting loss prevention, and complying with tobacco and lottery regulations. Typical schedules include day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends, totaling 35–40 hours weekly.

When You'll Work

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
