Timber Mart, a division of Simpcw Resources Group, is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people in a fast-paced retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Cashier / Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing transactions, maintaining attractive product displays, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. The successful candidate enjoys interacting with customers, takes pride in providing outstanding service, and contributes positively to a collaborative team environment.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Cash-handling and customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner both in person and over the phone
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

In this role you will:

  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout and sales floor areas
  • Process product returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
  • Assist customers in locating products and provide product information as required
  • Monitor product displays and restock inventory as needed
  • Help create and maintain a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
