Job summary

A&W Restaurants in Victoria, BC is seeking a friendly CashierCrew for evenings and closings. You’ll take orders, process payments using our POS, greet guests, and help deliver a fast, welcoming experience.

This permanent role offers up to 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Growth is supported through our Steps to Success training, paid training, and opportunities to advance to leadership. Benefits include medical and dental plans and employee discounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
