Job summary

The Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce is seeking a customer service oriented cashier to greet shoppers and provide friendly, professional assistance in a retail environment.

You will operate the cash register, process payments, balance cash at start and end of shifts, answer product questions, and keep shelves stocked and organized for customers throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
• Receive payments, provide correct change, and issue receipts.
• Handle cash and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and help them locate items in the store.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays and ensure products are properly organized.
