Job summary

RONA is seeking a customer-focused associate to join our store team in Montérégie. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help maintain clean, efficient checkout areas. This role supports store operations and emphasizes accuracy, safety, and excellent service.

Successful candidates will have cash handling experience or familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training and growth opportunities are available within our community-focused stores.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and occasionally work outdoors.
• Experience with cash registers is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep checkout areas clean and organized.
• Create and balance cash reports at shift end.

Your role:

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors
• Experience with cash register systems an asset
