Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in cash applications or accounts receivable.
• Accurate and timely application of customer payments; strong attention to matching remittances to invoices.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments (EFT, ACH, wire, cheque, lockbox) to customer accounts accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, overpayments and deductions.
• Match remittances to invoices using portals, bank data, and remittance advice.
• Process credit card payments and portal-based collections where applicable.
• Maintain AR records in the ERP system and reconcile daily cash receipts.

We also offer essential support services such as LEED consultation, code compliance, access control system integration, product research and selection, specification writing, and technical support to ensure well-functioning doorway systems within the commercial building industry.This is accomplished by combining the strengths of world-class door and hardware brands under the ASSA ABLOY Group.We are seeking a **Cash Applications Specialist** to be based in our **Vaughan, Ontario** location.**Job Summary**The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely application of customer payments to accounts receivable, ensuring clean customer ledgers and supporting effective credit and collections processes.
