Job summary

IKEA Edmonton is hiring a Customer Experience Co-worker I to help customers, keep carts and shopping tools ready, and support coworkers during busy periods. You’ll greet customers warmly, answer questions when you can, and connect them with the right teammate for more help.

The starting rate for this position is 18.5 CAD per hour. This role may involve evenings and weekends, outdoor work, and physical tasks.

• Able to safely perform physical tasks outdoors.
• Keeps carts and shopping tools ready for customers.

Responsibilities

• Collect carts from the parking lot and return them using the cart mule.
• Monitor cart availability and respond to busy periods.
• Walk store to check and refill shopping tools (bags, baskets, pencils).
• Keep cart areas and tools clean, organized, and safe.
• Remove damaged carts/tools and report equipment or safety concerns.
• Greet customers warmly and connect them with the right coworker for further help.
• Communicate with team about cart levels and changing priorities.
