Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Stockperson / Cartpusher to help keep the store safe and welcoming. You will collect carts from corrals, the lot, and the perimeter and return them using approved procedures, while maintaining logs and assisting customers as needed.

You’ll adapt to a varied schedule, support overnight and daytime operations, and help manage restocking and cleanliness with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot and store perimeter and return them to storage areas.
• Respond to customer and store needs, assist with carry outs and verify receipts when required.
• Maintain clean facilities and equipment, follow chemical handling and disposal guidelines.
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including lockout/tagout and bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free work environment with proper PPE and safety sweeps.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
