Job summary

Walmart Canada in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Stockperson / Cartpusher to help create a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping experience. You will collect shopping carts from corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter, returning them to storage using approved procedures.

This role emphasizes friendly customer interactions and safety, with duties including responding to requests from registers, assisting customers with carries, completing logs, and maintaining clean facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prior retail or cart-pusher experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Service Operations by assisting customers and processing carry outs and verifying receipts when required.
• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them to storage using Walmart procedures.
• Maintain clean facilities and equipment, including restrooms, with proper chemical handling and inspections.
• Follow safety standards and emergency protocols to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free work environment with PPE and safety sweeps.
• Be available for a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
