Job summary

Walmart Canada in Owen Sound is seeking a Stockperson/Cartpusher to support a safe, organized shopping experience. You will collect carts from corrals and return them to storage, assist customers with carry outs, and help verify receipts when needed.

You will keep facilities clean, follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and be prepared to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. This is a physical role requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to designated storage areas using Walmart procedures.
• Assist customers with carry outs and carry ins; verify receipts when required.
• Maintain clean facilities and equipment, including restrooms, with proper chemical handling and disposal.
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including hazardous communication and lockout/tagout where applicable.
• Wear required PPE such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vest, and complete safety sweeps as needed.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
• Support customer service operations and help ensure a safe, efficient store environment.
