Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking a Carpet Cleaner/Restoration Technician to join the front‑line team. You will learn water and fire restoration basics, operate industry tools, and work with experienced technicians to build your skills and make an impact for clients.

You’ll perform drying set‑ups, handle water extraction, and contribute to safe, effective restorations. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential for career growth in a supportive, Canada‑wide

Qualifications

• 6 months of restoration, carpet cleaning, construction, or related field experience.
• Previous professional carpet cleaning experience required.
• Experience operating a portable carpet cleaning unit required.
• Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification an asset.
• Carpet Cleaning Technician Course (CCT) certification an asset.
• Proficient using mobile devices and relevant applications.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Effective communication with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
• Valid full driver’s license and clean abstract required.
• Forklift certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality carpet cleaning services.
• Set up drying and restoration equipment.
• Remove damaged materials and prepare work areas for repair.
• Assist with water extraction, demolition, and cleanup.
• Follow industry standards and safety protocols.
