Employment Solutions - Sault College is seeking a skilled Restoration Carpenter to join our team in person. You will perform structural and finish carpentry for restoration projects, repair damage from water, fire, and mold, and install drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and framing to return properties to safe and appealing condition.

The ideal candidate can read blueprints, follow specifications, work independently or with a team, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in restoration or renovation.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications.
• Experience with drywall, framing, and finishing work.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and finish carpentry for restoration projects.
• Repair damage caused by water, fire, mold, and other factors.
• Install drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and framing.
• Assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Work closely with project managers and other trades.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.

Job Summary:
