Job summary

Ottawa Construction Association is seeking a carpenter to perform construction, installation, maintenance and repair of structures using materials common in the industry. The role requires reading blueprints and performing layout with standard measuring tools in accordance with the provincial Building Code.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, fitting and installing building materials, including wood and steel doors, and trim items such as stairs, mouldings and hardware.
