Project Type: Infrastructure / Buildings

Project Location: Lower Mainland, BC

Rate: $27.45 to $41.17 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday - OT as per site needs

Jadeg is currently accepting resumes at this time for future opportunities for Carpenter Apprentices to join the team at one of the projects in the Lower Mainland, BC!

This position is in Lower Mainland, BC and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.

This is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

AS A CARPENTER APPRENTICE, YOU WILL:

  • Build forms for concrete
  • Cut, shape, and join
  • Look for and fix deficiencies
  • Building of hoarding and other temporary structures
  • Checks accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
  • Studies blueprints for work planning
  • Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete
  • Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
  • Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and / or takes appropriate measures
  • General site upkeep

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentices from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
  • Experience with concrete formwork required
  • Certifications: CSTS & WHMIS
  • Fall Protection is an asset
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
