Job summary

A construction company in Regina is seeking individuals for a full-time position requiring experience in reading blueprints, building structures, and supervising workers. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada. The role offers an hourly wage of $31 for 30 to 40 hours per week, with immediate start date.

Qualifications

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

Education
