The Government of the Northwest Territories is seeking a Career Development Navigator to support workforce development across the Northwest Territories. You will deliver career, employment, training, and apprenticeship services while collaborating with individuals, employers, Indigenous governments, schools, and community partners.
You will provide individualized career and employment case management, administer funding programs, and help expand access to professional certification pathways.
The Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) provides the residents of the Northwest Territories with access to quality programs, services and support to assist them in making informed and productive choices for themselves and their families with regard to education, training, careers, employment and labour, child development, languages, culture and heritage.

The Career Development Navigator plays a key role in supporting workforce development across the Northwest Territories by delivering career, employment, training, and apprenticeship services. Working closely with individuals, employers, Indigenous governments, educational institutions, and community partners, the incumbent helps improve access to employment opportunities, skills development, and professional certification pathways.

Equivalencies may be considered based on a one-year of directly related experience equivalent to one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience. The salary range for this position is from $49.68 per hour to $59.35 per hour (approximately $96,876 - $115,733.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
