Job summary

Kingsley Home Care Services in Sudbury, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated Care Co-ordinator to support clients in their own homes with person-centred care. This essential role ensures dignity, safety and tailored care plans across a small, close-knit team.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, have 2 years of care experience, and excel in time management and teamwork. Permanent full-time, 9am-5pm, salary £28,000–£30,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in a care setting with vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain dignity and standards of service users and their homes.
  • Work as part of an efficient team to ensure smooth running of the service.
  • Attend training, meetings, and supervisions for ongoing development.
  • Comply with Health & Safety policy and procedures.
  • Represent Kingsley Home Care Services professionally at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all service-user information.
  • Support service users’ development, independence, rights, and choices.
  • Ensure rotas are completed and accessible to staff.
  • Train and supervise staff in medication administration and safe handling.
  • Meet with service users to ensure care meets their needs as per care plans.

This is an independent, family-run organisation dedicated to providing quality person-centred care to people living in their own homes and residential homes

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care**

As the Care Co-ordinator your key duties include:
  • Maintain dignity and standards of service users and their homes
  • Work as part of an efficient team to ensure smooth running of the service
  • Continue professional development through attending and contributing to training, meetings, and supervisions
  • Comply with Kingsley Home Care Services Health & Safety policy and procedures
  • Represent Kingsley Home Care Services professionally and positively at all times
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all issues and information relating to service users
  • Support service users’ personal development regarding independence, skills, rights, and choices
  • Ensure that all rotas are completed and made available to staff in a timely manner
  • Train, assess, and ensure that medication is administered and managed effectively and safely by staff
  • Meet with service users to ensure that their care meets their needs as per their individual care plan
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
  • 2 years' experience in a care setting with vulnerable individuals
  • Willingness to undertake necessary NVQ or additional training
  • Empathy, understanding, and experience in meeting the needs of service users
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to make balanced, clear, and timely decisions
  • Proactive approach to involving others in decision-making processes
  • Commitment to health and safety practices

The successful Care Co-ordinator will receive an excellent salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working from 9am-5pm on days.
