A regional health authority in Victoria, Canada seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist to support cardiac care teams. Responsibilities include technical monitoring, providing assistance during procedures, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology and have recent related experience. The role requires working under stressful conditions and heavy lifting of equipment.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), functions as a member of the Cardiac Catheterizations Electrophysiology and Device Implant teams. In collaboration with a Cardiologist, who specialty involves three aspects of cardiac care: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab and Device implantation the CVT supports, manages and reports technical monitoring prior, during and post care. The CVT provides technical assistance/support to the programs prior, during and post care.
