Job summary

Fraser Health Authority seeks a Part-Time Cardiology Technologist for Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. The role involves ECG testing, stress testing, Holter/ABP monitoring and related procedures under physician supervision.

Completion of a Cardiology Technology Diploma with CSCT certification and 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Benefits, pension, and transit subsidies are provided by Fraser Health.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level plus two years of related experience.
• CSCT certification is required for this role.
• Experience performing ECG, stress testing and monitoring in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs ECG testing, stress testing, Holter and ABP testing.
• Explain procedures and prep patients for testing.
• Enter patient test information into Meditech for electronic health records.
• Assist with Pacemaker interrogation and documentation when directed.
• Maintain and file reports per department procedures and policies.
• Provide orientation and training to ECG staff and new hires.
