Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Cardiovascular Special Procedures Tech to join the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role supports a fast-paced STEMI program and works with RNs and physicians gaining exposure to procedures like TAVR and Watchman. Full-time shifts are 4 ten-hour days with on-call rotation.

This position offers a competitive benefits package; sign-on bonus of $20,000 plus $20,000 relocation assistance is noted. Requires ARRT licensure and relevant Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or less than 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification as required by state law; licensure/certification as applicable.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS where applicable.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology; understanding of Cath Lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures per orders and policies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures; foster teamwork and quality outcomes.
• Produce high quality images and maintain proper documentation.
• Demonstrate competence in invasive/interventional procedures and radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Perform equipment QC and troubleshoot to maintain performance; ensure radiation safety.
• Maintain ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities of radiology practice.
• Ensure efficient workflow and adequate supply inventory to avoid interruptions.
• Independently perform prescribed radiographic procedures in coordination with care teams.
