is proud to partner with our client in the search for a dedicated and mechanically inclined Car Wash Maintenance Technician to join their growing operations team in Winnipeg, MB.
The Maintenance Technician will assist in the maintenance and repair of car wash assets across multiple sites. Working under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is ideal for someone eager to develop their technical skills while ensuring equipment remains reliable, efficient, and operational.
Equipment Maintenance & Repairs – Assist in inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of car wash systems. Respond to service calls and support repairs under supervision.
General Maintenance – Perform additional repair and maintenance tasks for projects as assigned, including equipment servicing and facility upkeep.
Inventory & Documentation – Help track parts and tools, and assist with service call logs, repair records, and parts usage documentation.
Training & Support – Participate in hands‑on training for car wash operations and assist in educating site staff on troubleshooting and best practices.
Vendor Coordination – Shadow the Supervisor in liaising with vendors and third‑party service providers, gaining exposure to operational standards and maintenance procedures.
Safety & Compliance – Follow all safety protocols, maintenance best practices, and organizational standards.
Education – High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade Status – Journeyman status in a trade related to mechanical systems, electrical, or plumbing.
Preferred Certifications – B Gas Ticket, Electrical Class, Backflow Certification.
Experience – Low voltage electrical and general water purification system knowledge an asset.
Skills – Mechanically inclined with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail; able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Other – Willingness to complete on‑the‑job training related to car wash maintenance; must adhere to all safety procedures.
Hands‑on technical training in specialized car wash systems and maintenance.
