Job summary

Clutch, Canada’s largest online used car retailer, is hiring a Team Lead, Car Detail at our Etobicoke facility to oversee the final stage of vehicle production. You will lead daily last-mile operations, manage movement from assembly to staging, and ensure vehicles are prepared for delivery while supporting team performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in vehicle detailing, inspection, quality control, automotive production, or logistics.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team coordination experience.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Minimum G2 License with a clean driver’s record.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Thursday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate movement of vehicles in Etobicoke facility from assembly to staging.

About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Team Lead, Car Detail to oversee the final stage of our vehicle production process at our Etobicoke location. In this role, you will lead daily last-mile operations, manage the movement of completed vehicles from the assembly line to staging areas, and ensure vehicles are properly prepared for delivery to our clients while supporting team performance and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and coordinate the movement of vehicles within the Etobicoke production facility, ensuring efficient flow from assembly to staging

• Oversee final inspections and confirm vehicles are properly prepped for shipment, including any necessary adjustments, detailing, or cleaning

• Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and task prioritization for Car Detail Associates

• Monitor quality standards and resolve or **escalate** production or delivery issues as needed

• Collaborate with production, detailing, and shipping teams to meet delivery schedules and customer deadlines

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, safety, and efficiency

What we’re looking for:

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in vehicle detailing, inspection, quality control, automotive production, or logistics

• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team coordination experience

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

• Minimum G2 License with a clean driver’s record

It’d be great if you have:

• Previous experience leading teams in automotive production, detailing, or logistics environments

• Familiarity with quality control processes and vehicle inspections

• Experience driving process improvements or operational efficiencies

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $25.00–$27.00 per hour (based on experience)
