Job description

Responsibilities

• Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation
• Executing and creating test cases
• Defining business solutions for the requirements
• Building controls around the solution (process, database solution)
• Reading rules and understanding business requirements, writing test cases
• Interact with stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal, and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements)
• 25-30% in meetings/working groups to understand how everything comes together and the overall impact
• Run various regulatory controls, publish metrics, participate in project calls

Must-have skills

• 8-10 years as a Business Analyst
• 5+ Capital Markets experience
• Recent project experience with regulatory trade reporting – CAT, SFTR, EBS preferred
• Well-balanced understanding of regulations in business and technology

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with Electronic Blue Sheets, Consolidated Audit Trails
• General understanding of operations and experience in any control functions
