Value Buds on Wyandotte Street in Ontario is seeking a Keyholder/Shift Lead to deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example during shifts. You will guide customers through product education and assist in daily store operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes customer-first service, compliance with cannabis regulations, and teamwork. Prior retail experience and cannabis certification are preferred, with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Cannabis selling certification required (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age per province (18/19+).

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming customer experience.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support store operations including merchandising and upkeep.
• Operate the POS and handle payments.
• Restock shelves and complete basic inventory checks.
• Verify IDs to ensure regulatory compliance.
