A major mining company in Canada is seeking a Mining Engineer for a Fly-In Fly-Out position in the Kitikmeot Region. Responsibilities include conducting surveys, creating CAD drawings, and assisting in mine planning. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering and have 1 year of underground mining experience. The position includes a work schedule of 21 days on and 21 days off, with travel accommodations provided.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Underground Mine Engineering, you will be part of the Mine Engineering Department. You will be tasked with a variety of technical responsibilities, including survey, ventilation, design and ground control. Given the remote location and scale of the operations, you may be required to broaden your scope of responsibilities and demonstrate proficiency and autonomy in relevant areas. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
