Job summary

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a Canadian Arctic focused Cultural Specialist to bring expert knowledge of natural history and culture to voyages. You will deliver engaging in-field interpretation, host guest briefings, and accompany guests ashore with local guides, ensuring a memorable and educational experience throughout itineraries.

Qualifications include aBachelor’s degree or four years in related industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a multinational, live-aboard

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of work experience in related industry.
• Excellent communication skills with guests in a multinational setting.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend policies and memos in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with on-ship and ashore activities including cultural, culinary, and historical tours.
• Provide engaging in-field interpretation and guest briefings.
• Eat meals with guests and maintain high visibility and guest rapport.
• Coordinate operations, safety drills, and equipment maintenance as needed.
