As part of the 2026Canada Impact+ Research Chairs Program competition , the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (DMSP) is recruiting a full professor for a positionto develop a global health research and teaching program. The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe scientific and administrativemanagementof the Centre for Public Health Research (CReSP), a leading interdisciplinary and interfaculty centre.
The program awards Chairs of two award values: $8 million over eight years ($1 million per year);or $4million over eight years ($500,000 per year).The chair offered under this call will have a value of $1million per year for a duration of eight years. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate in preparing the application, leading up to its submission in March 2026.
