Job summary

Walmart Canada in Richmond Hill is seeking a Stockperson / Cartpusher to maintain a safe, organized shopping environment. You will collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to designated storage areas following Walmart procedures.

You will assist customers with carry outs, verify receipts when required, perform occasional cleaning and equipment inspections, and follow safety protocols including PPE usage and hazard communication.

Ensure required logs are completed accurately.Respond to Customer and Store NeedsRespond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.Maintain Clean Facilities and EquipmentPerform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment. Complete required equipment inspections before use.Follow Safety Standards and ProceduresAdhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.Promote a Safe and Hazard Free Work EnvironmentUse required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, complete safety sweeps as required, and follow Company policies and procedures to support a clean, safe workplace.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
