Job summary

Walmart Canada is looking for a Stockperson/Cartpusher to help maintain a safe, organized shopping environment in Gander. You will collect carts from corrals and parking areas and return them to storage while completing logs and assisting cashiers as needed.

In this role you will respond to customer requests, verify receipts when required, and help with carry outs and ins. You will also perform cleaning tasks, follow safety procedures, and wear PPE such as steel-toe shoes and a reflective vest.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them safely to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures. Ensure required logs are completed accurately.
• Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment. Complete required equipment inspections before use.
• Adhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, complete safety sweeps as required, and follow Company policies and procedures to support a clean, safe workplace.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Through friendly customer interactions and a strong focus on safety, this role supports smooth store operations while building valuable skills in retail, teamwork, and customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
