Walmart in Dryden, ON is hiring for a seasonal/regular associate to support Customer Service Operations. You will collect shopping carts, assist customers with carry outs, and verify receipts where required. The role includes maintaining clean facilities, following safety procedures, and using PPE.

Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected. The minimum pay starts at 18.10 CAD per hour, with physical tasks up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them safely to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.
• Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.
• Maintain clean facilities and equipment, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment.
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free work environment by using required PPE and following company policies, including safety sweeps and hygiene practices.
• Be flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.
• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with energy and attention to detail to maintain store standards.

What you\'ll do...

Support Customer Service Operations

Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them safely to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures. Ensure required logs are completed accurately.

Respond to Customer and Store Needs

Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.

Maintain Clean Facilities and Equipment

Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment. Complete required equipment inspections before use.

Follow Safety Standards and Procedures

Adhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.

Promote a Safe and Hazard Free Work Environment

Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, complete safety sweeps as required, and follow Company policies and procedures to support a clean, safe workplace.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
