Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Stockperson / Cartpusher in Atholville, NB. You will collect shopping carts from corrals and the parking lot, returning them to storage using Walmart procedures while engaging with customers and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Service Operations: Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them safely to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.
• Respond to Customer and Store Needs: Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.
• Maintain Clean Facilities and Equipment: Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment.
• Follow Safety Standards and Procedures: Adhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Promote a Safe and Hazard Free Work Environment: Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, complete safety sweeps as required, and follow Company policies and procedures to support a clean, safe workplace.
