Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an overnight stocking team leader to assist in directing tasks, assess presentation, and train associates at the Saint John, NB location. The role emphasizes communication, safety, and adherence to processes to improve daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and coordinate task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assess the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Lead daily team huddle at the start of each shift; provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured; all doors and lockups are secured when not in use; complete daily audits per program.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tour assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching and feedback.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and hazard-free environment through policy adherence and safety logs.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates; support recruiting and hiring.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.

Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What You'll Do...

• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.15.
