Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Whitehorse, Yukon is seeking an Associate to support stocking activities and deliver friendly customer service. You will stock merchandise, greet customers and assist with product selection while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

As part of a team, you’ll review workload, sign merchandise, manage shelf integrity, support the Customer Availability Process, and help prepare the backroom for stock unloading.

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

Position Summary

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.

Minimum Pay
