Job summary

Walmart Canada in Victoria, BC seeks a Stocking Associate to support customer availability by stocking picks and new merchandise in a safe, clean store. You will join a team to plan and execute duties based on workload and store needs.

Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, maintaining shelf integrity, organizing items, and preparing the backroom for stock unloading while ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used effectively. A customer-service mindset is essential.

• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.
