Job summary

Walmart Oakville is seeking an energetic Associate to support stocking and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will stock picks and new merchandise, greet customers, promote products, and help maintain safe, clean aisles.

This role emphasizes teamwork, workload planning, and attention to shelf integrity and availability, with a starting hourly rate of $18.10. Eligibility begins at age 16 and on-site training provided at 1455 Rebecca St, Oakville.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

Position Summary…

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.
