Job summary

Walmar in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking an Associate to provide customer service and assist with stocking and merchandising duties in a safe, organized store environment.

You will greet customers, locate merchandise, stock picks and new merchandise, and help maintain fixtures and backroom readiness. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and compliance with store policies.

• Greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store.
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
