Job summary

Walmart Canada in Waterloo, ON is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate to unload trailers, process merchandise, and move pallets to the sales floor while maintaining a safe workspace.

You will assist with stocking, support customer service, and help ensure efficient inventory management in a fast-paced retail environment. The role may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Minimum pay starts at 17.75 CAD per hour.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading merchandise: prepare and reset the receiving area, unload trailers, verify seals, build and shrink wrap pallets, move carts to the sales floor, label and place overstock merchandise.
• Handle and move merchandise safely: maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated/frozen products, pull pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and customer support: assist with stocking the sales floor and provide customer service to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock organization: label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas to support inventory management.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment: follow policies to keep a safe, clean, hazard-free workspace, complete safety logs and ensure displays are secure.
• Flexibility (availability/work schedule): be open to evenings, weekends and holidays as needed to keep the store running smoothly.

What you'll do...

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Receiving and Unloading Merchandise

Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise. Verify intact seal on warehouse trailers. Build and shrink wrap pallets. Pull carts and pallets to the salesfloor. Validate trailer listings. Complete Core App checklists. Label and place overstock merchandise.

Handle and Move Merchandise Safely

Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.

Stocking and Customer Support

Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.

Overstock Organization

Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.

Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment

Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
